Florida vs. North Carolina

Although we were in Florida for almost 15 years, it never quite felt like home. Yet, it took mere months for North Carolina to feel “just right.” We quickly figured out that while we no longer feel the need to live smack in the middle of mountainous terrain, we do need to at least be able to see them! THAT, along with building the cottage on the ridge, is what makes NC home.
